- Go to the Logbook Exemplar page for information on keeping a logbook and to download a logbook you could use.
- Please note that the NOLRS is a registration body, not an assessment body, so can only accept: certified academic records or transcripts from a Recognised Training Organisation (RTO); or current certified certificates from a NOLRS Recognised Outdoor Leader Course. If you require assessment please contact an RTO or a provider of the NOLRS Recognised Outdoor Leader Courses. Check out our links to training providers in your state.
STEP 3
Once you have all the required evidence, download and complete the NOLRS application form and submit it with your application. Ensure your logbooks are verified^ and all other documentation has been certified*.
- ^ Verifiable log books must include a verifying contact name and contact number for each of the log book entries. This person is ideally a supervisor or manager and must be able to confirm the details of the session including the role of the leader. A land manager permit or similar evidence may be used in some circumstances.
- * Certified under the NOLRS means it has to be signed by somebody from the Australian Government’s Statutory Declaration Signatory List. Each document needs to include the signatory’s name, signature, occupation and acknowledgement that they have sighted the original.
Please note:
Applications will expire 3 months after they have been received by the NOLRS administration office. It is the responsibility of the applicant to check they have met the requirements before submitting their application. Any additional information required by the NOLRS administrator must be submitted in this 3 month period. If all information has not been received in the 3 month period the application will be closed and the applicant will have to re-apply.
The fees for registration are outlined on the Registration Costs page. Please note that payment is processed on application and not on approval of your registration. If your application is unsuccessful, payment will not be refunded. It is important to ensure you have met all the requirements before submitting your application.
