NOLRS Registration, Re-Registration & Subsequent Registration
When the review of the National Outdoor Leader Registration Scheme is completed and the new Outdoor Recreation Training Package is released, the following documentation will undergo some changes. Applications will be accepted under the current version of NOLRS until further notice.

The Member Fee applies to individuals who are members of any organisation which is a member of the OCA (please refer to OCA Members). Proof of membership should be submitted at time of application. The Non-member Fee is for individuals who are not members of any organisation which is a member of the OCA.

Registration
In order to be eligible for NOLRS registration, you will need to provide documentation and proof of your qualifications, experience and currency.
Download and read the Simple Guide to NOLRS Registration
To be eligible for NOLRS registration you need to demonstrate three things:
1. Knowledge, skills and/or training - in the outdoor activity you wish to register, at the appropriate level (e.g. Guide or Instructor);
In order to complete the first step you need to provide evidence of all the required units of competency for each registration category as per the Units of Competency Table. These units may be from either the SRO03 or SIS10 training packages.
SRO03 Training Package Click to access the Units of Competency Table - SRO03 (you may have to Download or Save this file before opening it)
SIS10 Training Package Click to access the Units of Competency Table - SIS10 (you may have to Download or Save this file before opening it)
Please note that the NOLRS is a registration body, not an assessment body, so can only accept certified academic records or transcripts from a Recognised Training Organisation (RTO) or a Partnered Assessment Provider (PAP). If you require assessment please contact an RTO or a PAP.
2. Currency - through the submission of a comprehensive and verifiable log book demonstrating completion of the stipulated minimum number of independent instruction or guiding sessions required for the level and outdoor activity/s you are registering for;
Go to the Logbook Exemplar page for information on keeping a logbook and to download a logbook you could use.
The following documents outline the evidence requirements by activity (refer to the yellow highlighted section in “skill, knowledge and experience requirements”).
